Meie Talund Stud is situated in beautiful Frankford in the central north of Tasmania. I am a breeder of the Australian Miniature Goat.
My aim is to produce a small, friendly and healthy pet goat with good conformation. I started the Meie Talund Stud in 2001 on 4.5 acres with my partner Jeanne and have enjoyed every moment of my journey with these smart, funny and precious animals. I have two milking does who I milk for part of the year to feed my bottle babies and make goat milk soap as well as some milk for the house. I run a small herd of goats, 2 bucks, about 8 breeding does, 2 milking does and a few doelings. We have been working hard to produce a small, healthy, well proportioned, pixie eared miniature goat with a gentle loving temperament. We have two border collie X dogs, Pyper and Willo, who help us keep our place in "order" and who have enriched our lives greatly. We are members of the MGBAA Our animals are Johnes and CAE tested. Last testing May 2011.  |
